I've just seen this on Instagram.
New Gas Can | SureCanUSA
Basically its a fuel can with the spout on the bottom and a switch to control the flow, just want you need to fill up your main tank on a rolling deck??
Expensive, but I thought a great idea.

I've been using one for 4 years on my F-24. It is wonderfully easy to use, even filling a chain saw or small dinghy tank. Handy in the small size I have (about 2 gallons), but I would use a shaker siphon for larger cans.

I do not leave it aboard, and if I did it would be on-deck, as would ANY gasoline can.

For carrying gas for the fuel tank on my cruising cat (PDQ), I used plain 6-gallon jerry cans with a shaker siphon. No need for a spout.

Like the idea of them. Didn’t know they were available in the Uk.

I have a jiggle syphon but rarely used as I have a couple of 10 litre plastic containers with flexible spout. I now just position the can on deck and lower quickly so that the spout goes directly into the open deck filler. The can lodges in position and just needs tilting to get it all the diesel out.
Edit - you can't seem to get these 'sure cans' in the UK...

Just lift the end above level and it stops and only starts again when you jiggle. It does have another name when the ladies are not about ?

Yeh, I have one to fill containers for my boat heater. I never do any smelly stuff in the cabin.

It all depends upon height differential and speed of hand and accuracy of the squirt!

I have also used the 'squeeze' siphon... there is still a time delay and possibility of a wee bit of mess.

So the can may be better... I imagine it is pretty good... off tap being instantaneous?

I have not looked at the price...
