Opened a tin of Meatballs then covered them with the contents of a tin of Pease Pudding, 3½ minutes in the Microwave then served with a nice ice cold Rose Wine.
Finished off with a Mug of freshly brewed Nescafe.
Ah! the high life.

What makes you think that Piccie is me? It could be a real photo of PaulineB or TonyB1 after all he provided it.

Windy? Windy? It's alright for you but I have to sit in it. It's like sitting on a Hovercraft.

Hey, don't bring me into this just coz I'm not there! I have not had the pleasure of meeting Byron and so cannot comment on his photo although I have heard from a reliable source ........ /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

p.s. just remembered that I promised your Sommer (Sp.) a copy of that Beatles disk. I'll burn one and get it in the post later in the week. Any other Beatles fans on the forum?

My Missus has a signed copy of a 45 on the wall in a frame.
George used to live not far from me, she knew him (I didn't) because he regularly used to pop in on a neighbour who he was matey with, now him I know, Legs Larry Smith of the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band.

I'd forgotten all about them until a couple of weeks ago when I heard them on the Light Programme on the wireless.

OK Joanne.
Starters:- Crispy sprouts covered with melted cheese
Main - Cheese and raw onion sarnies or Sheeps Eyeballs and Garlic Cheese
Dessert - well done sprouts covered in hot melted chocolate

Wines- Find the cheapest and decant into stoneware jugs

Most important is 'over the dinner' chat. Subjects should be interesting to all parties such as the merits of Soltron, the best treatments for Haemorrhoids and so on. Pay attention to table manners, no farting, only burp if your guests are Arabs, if you need to pick your Hooter do so discretely behind your napkin and surreptitiously wipe it under the table on the table cloth.
Please remember to face towards Henley and say Grace.

Thanks Byron -

Fantasy guest list should include Haydn, Mack and Muppetmiester !

By the way could the hot melted chocolate over the sprouts be substitued for warmed Soltron ?

I've heard it very good at combating after diner smoking .....
