Someone posted this not long ago, I've done a search and couldn't find it.

Yep I've now got my first power boat!!! Comments to follow on this at a later date.

First day out, we covered my little girl with sun cream, P40 sold from Superdrug. Its very good, waterproof and lasts all day.

We noticed yellow stains on the vinyl, obviously from the cream. We tried vinyl cleaner from Halfords, garden furniture cleaner from BQ, meths, milton bleach and a variety of kitchen cleaners, all without success.

Has anyone any suggestions on how to remove the stains??

Try fender cleaner or black streak remover, or astonish paste. Do a little piece first to try. Roy

We have a bottle of P40 on board and I will now throw it away. I have had various unremovable stains on the covers over the years but have found that sun bleaching does sort them out. So don't be too distressed, given a good summer they will probably dissapear.
