What do you think about this boat? Please feel free to tell advantages, disadvantages, things you like on this boat and things you hate.

Personally me considered to buy it (it was 3 cabin version and I needed only 2) but did not like layout and very boxy style. Besides price (if to add replacement of sails and other necessary repairs and modifications) came to that of new Bav30, which I bought finally and which is good for me.
But it is another story.))

Jeanneaus are well built boats,for the price you get consistent quality-That said I'm not fond of the design.The layout is unusable at sea,Engine access is very very bad and if you ever have to replace a steering wire at sea you might consider abandoning ship instead,it's so cramped.
They do not sail badly but I once took a 34.2 owner friend out in my Fulmar in rough conditions and he said his boat would be all over the place in the same conditions.His own admission!The Fulmar was perfectly balanced of course.
As another poster said older Jeanneaus are much better and definetly worth a look.

Great boat. I dont agree with the above. Engine access is fine .. I've just replaced the exhaust pipe and I've fixed various control wires without any difficulty.I adjusted the steering wires last month, no problem. Lots of space. She sails well but doesnt like beating into big waves very much ...but neither do I . tends to slap up and down ..but otherwise great to sail .. totally different class of boat from a Bavaria .. ..
