It was a lively weekend in the Solent. We popped out on Saturday afternoon to see what was what and then back to Lymington with nothing much accomplished but for a vague sense of wellbeing.
I did notice that at one point it seemed as though one boat in three was under tow or suffering some minor or major malfunction. Sea Start must be licking their wounds today. And the vhf was busy, busy, busy with CG complaining about overspeaking and still callers were asking for radio checks.
Yesterday, we stayed on our berth and I took the opportunity to finish off a couple of minor jobs which had been waiting for a suitable moment. Oh, yes I also found time for a little snooze in the sunshine.
