My stowe log paddle wheel is not working. It has lost the magnet and does not send a signal to the read out. Stowe no longer makes the paddle wheel, it,s probably 1990 vintage and blue in colour. Can any one offer any help.

No reason why you shouldn't try gluing a new bit of magnet into it with epoxy. Failing that, Stowe Marine will sell you a new transducer which will be compatible.

I found a small magnet (there are some at Maplins) and epoxied it into the hole. It worked well.

You could buy the impeller wheel and pivots at one time.

i have had the same problem but came up with a solution and i works.

snap the magnet in half and it fits really well. Now no need to get an expensive replacement unit.
