I am about to fit new synthetic rubber seals on my portlights. This will require glueing them in place onto chrome finish metal. Any ideas of the best glue please? Thoughts are superglue, copydex, cycle puncture repair stuff, inflatable repair stuff or araldite. Many fanks

have just received a consignment from Seals Direct. Their advice was contact adhesive to stick the neoprene to the boat and a thin smear of silicone sealant between the neoprene and the acrylic.

Stormsure glue will do the job, it's used for sealing drysuits etc

<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.michaelevans.co.uk> Michael Evans </A> stock it £4.45 a tube.
Click on Tackle Shop then do a search on the site for Stormsure to find it.
