Hi
aft of a KAD44, does not look OEM to me, but def a volvo part
the bolt through the white bracket, holds the hydraulic ram ?
and if it undo the tags it will 'just' unscrew and the ram will be loose, other than at the end that is fixed to the steering arm ?
is there going to be a nut at the other end at the bottom ??

Theres another bolt the same goes up from below too

Look underneath it and see if it has a nut or not, then look to see of it is captivated or a tapped thread in the bracket instead.

Knock the locking tabs down and try to unscrew it and if you are turning and nothing is happening then it has a nut which is spinning.

It doesnt have a nut there are two bolts with dowels built into the end to act as hinge pins to locate the ram , 1 screws down from above as can be seen the other identical screws up from below the locate in recesses in the steering ram to allow it to pivot.
If you cant see or feel the lower one directly below the one shown then maybe its missing but there should be one top and bottom

As I said on your other post you can leave the power steering ram in situ remove the cable and replace with an outboard style hydraulic ram if you have enough clearance to the starboard side
