pretty accurate Tony, we use them all the time on here to test high pressure pipework. Paint should be scraped off to bare metal and use a thin smear of something like 3-in-1 oil before applying the sensor head.

would love to, not sure when as I have a sailing course on 3rd October for a week and I am only off for 3 this time. The old bugger needs to let me know where he is. I thought he was on Englander just now, but he is being very quiet.
