Anyone know of any software I can use to upload waypoints to a CP180? I've been using EasyGPS with my little Garmin for a while but want to transfer all the waypoints to a CP180.

Any ideas?

The only method I came across was to use a User Card and a Card Reader .... for £100 or so .... so didn't bother!

Also this C-Map program and Cardreader are very slow and fitted with a extremely annoying copy-protect regime.
The program itself is not very user friendly to make it even worse.

But, if you want to transfer a lot of waypoints, the program is better than nothing. It can also show you the logfiles, so you can look on your PC the route you've effectively sailed.

C-Map has very nice charts, but their planning program is definitely below any standard.

Maybe Google for NMEA reading software. You will need a PC with the old RS232 (D9 plug) interface though. The CPs output various stuff on NMEA.
