Hi Everyone
I’m hoping for guidance on wiring the transducer for my SH CP180 plotter to it’s Airmar P58 transducer. The first image is the page in the SH manual. The second image is the page on the Airmar website for connecting their P58 transducer to a SH CP180. I’m not an electronics engineer but have basic knowledge plus common sense and have done this sort of thing successfully in the past. My query is the different naming terms in the two images. SH refer to NMEA input and output ports whereas Airmar refer to depth positive and negative and shield. Could anyone advise how to connect please? Does the transducer need a power input or does it get power from the plotter?
many thanks
Jonathan
