I asked West of Scotland a few weeks ago they said they could not weld yacht fittings. It was just 316 tube.

Just be aware that West Of Scotland engineering work with product other than stainless. If you are needing a particular stainless item I would prefer to go with someone who only works in stainless. Less chance of cross contamination.

+1 on contamination, unless they have a dedicated stainless workshop as some do.
Marine specialists are often quite expensive, whereas architectural types can be more reasonable, and they're using the same material often (316, 316L etc)

Just make sure that the company you select will backpurge the inside of the tube where possible to avoid oxidation of the interior of the weld.

used JBD in brewing and distilling projects - a proper hygienic solution but not sure they are interested in a wee bit of boat welding - worth asking

Burnhouse Engineering used to do all the fab work at the Spillers /Nestlepurina factory at Barrhead good jobbing work.
