Stainless Steel Springs

Does anyone know where I can get hold of stainless steel springs? I need one about 1/2inch long by 1/2inch diameter.
I found a website called EA supplies but they don't hold stock and wanted £30 for a courier for 1 spring!!

Google for compression springs, assuming its a compression spring you want.

Several suppliers although not all do stainless ones, You have to know the spring rate, not just the length and diameter, or the gauge of the wire

ITYWF that they all have a minimum order level. I want a couple of springs for a trailer and I expect I will either have to pay the minimum or order three or four.

SS springs

have a look at impact sprinklers at an irrigation shop. They are crazy cheap and have a large SS spring. Not very strong but possibly usable. olewill
