Does anyone have experience of fitting ST6000/1 plus core pack and drive unit on a 40- 43ft twin wheeled Jeanneau? Is it reasonably straight forward?

I fitted a ST5000 on my boat, but the principle is the same.
You will also need a stub tiller arm to fit onto the rudder stock probably below the quadrant.
I found the Drive Unit fitted best upside down to how its shown in the pictures, the mounting frame you construct for it must be VERY strong due to torque excerpted on it.
After you have had it in use for a month or so, check and retighten the stub tiller as it can slip round if not very tight, also due to torque excerpted on it.
