ST2000+ wiring question

Hi All
I have a ST2000+ which works fine using the buttons on the device. I also have a wired remote control which does not work

I have noticed 3 of the 5 wires on the device are detatched, I assume these are for the remote, see photos.
Blue and Brown are attached, Yellow, Green and White are not, so is it just a case of re-fitting this in the order shown in the photos?
Yellow next to brown and then green next to yellow and then white next to green?

The yellow is the data (Seatalk) cable and the other 2 are NMEA 0183. All is revealed on pages 46/7 of the owmers manual.
