St Kats have added mooring strops to their waiting bouys in order to make them easier to pick up. They were made by the firm that did Stonehenge and are robust to say the least. They must be 4 inch diameter (100 mm?) and I would be doubtful that they would go through many fair leads or anchor rollers; best to pick them up and put one of your lines through them.
