Over the last 3 years YM has published yottie ports common to common punters marina bound. Why can't YM take a grip on itself and say publish a common port with a FOREIGN port all in the same breath in each edition..... Yes I sail out of Port Dinorwic with destinations such as Crookhaven, Bayona, Lagos, Annapolis, Horta, Etc.

I sail all the year round. You sail. We sail. Some of us take YM and really think that YM ought to sail beyond the Solent .... If the YM review team want a Jan/Feb sail to say the Acores from the UK then just email me ... Equally YM might just go round the corner and start addressing itself in both directions to the real and YM forgotten sailing world - ie IMHO (censored)

Hi,
After sailing half way round the world, I still have fond memories of Porth Dinllaen, and remember it as being one of my most favourite spots in the world......

I sailed and boated there when staying with friends living in the Old Whitehall.

My best memory was of Dan the lavatory man who visited at high tide springs to collect the heads waste.

But what a lovely spot, and a nice secure anchorage in SWlys.
