Here to stay!!

Love Africa and will always be my spirtual home, but England is the only place to live. I've even got used to the cold and wet.

The boats are nicer too!

There are worse places to live, and we even play your favourite games here. I used to work with an ex Rhodie guy and he always raved about Rhodesia, which it was at the time. SA has its fans too. Hey, enjoy it and try to improve our weather if you have the power! Cheers,

Spent 10 years in Joburg from 1975 - 1986! Great years. I still drink Castle, mind you I spent best part of 10 years advertising the stuff - as well as Lion lager, not to mention Castle Milk Stout! Still miss the biltong! So grab it whenver I see it - fortunately have a South African Butcher up the road who makes his own. Can also get Mrs Balls chutney as well /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Very ex-Rhodie but a raggie who's very first sailing was on dams at 5000'+ altitude and whirlwinds were the biggest danger.
