Spot the Boat

and what she's just said to him ....

"I'm suprised at the size of Knobs required to operate this boat" .... which he took totally the wrong way .... ;)

"We've had that already "

so novelty is the primary criterion for replying to this boring and uneducative series of "Spot the..." is it ? Where and how exactly does this despicable series of advertising puffs benefit the yachting and boating fraternity ?

In that case, technically it's not a boat, it's just the bit of a boat where the the cheque writer can flex his or her economic muscle and environmental ignorance.

Yes, environmental ignorance:
Into Dartmouth last week, came 'Le Grand Bleu". It parked in the middle of the fairway, and people in small boats coming close were chased away by an agressive RIB launched from within its bowels.

The denizens and crew spent no money in the town, and the only activity was when a helicopter lifted off towards Torquay, and returned three hours later.

If you put your head above the parapet, and turn up in a superyacht, then you must consider yourself fair game to be looked at.

[/rant] but still utterly amazed that YBW can consider people are so fixed on identifying boats by the type of steering wheel. Wonderful esoteric knowledge madly misplaced and misapplied, when there are so many other world problems to solve.

Ah,

That will be me then. I am a sad boat spotter, but need Trev to let us know if it is the same steering wheel!

Paul

Indeed it is , same one as Azimiut use too and more recently seen on several British builds. The company that makes them does a roaring trade around La Spezia, every builder worth his salt uses them not like those Halfords Jobbies we used to have from Uk builders , Oh my gawd did I just say that ! ooops ! :-)

Well Trev, I'm sure you wouldn't rule out builders like the one below for not using the Isotta "Diamantina"! ;)

PS: Come to think of it, what a stupid name they gave to that wheel!
ROTFL, I wouldn't want it on my boat for that reason alone...
