Spot the Boat

I don't see any boat, just a couple of fenders /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Very nice photo thanks!

Good effort, it's hard to be sure from that shot, but I'll go for Aicon 64 Flybridge. The clue is the metal plate on the side of the boat, at bottom right corner of pic.

PY aicons are cream not white but in bright sun they often photograph white. The s/s construction is as used by s/seeker Hattan and Yot, prin, aicon and a few others. (Also Fairline on older boats like the earlier Sq58s but in recent times they have improved and moved away from that form of s/s construction)

The nav light is distinct (not fairline/prin/sseeker). The s/s plate (with the screw in it) is VERY aicon. Princess in this size range doesn't usually put the VHF on the radar arch. The radar arch is consistent with Aicon. So I'm still voting Aicon 64 but as Louise hasn't said anything I'm probably wrong :-)

Jeeze this is geeky. Louise please put us out of this misery :-)

And this week's winner is....

jfm (very geeky).

Of course I wasn't going to give it away too soon whilst you were all enjoying yourselves.

We're all pretty impressed here at IPC towers with the 'distinctive metal plate with the screw in it' spot, I can tell you!

What do you think for next week...
More boaty, or more girly? I don't want to be accused of gratuitous titillation but if you're enjoying it...

[/ QUOTE ]I'd rather say easier, in the first place.
Ok, considering how quickly even this one was spotted, you could argue that it wasn't still difficult enough. But imho it would be more interesting to have wider views of less known boats, instead of small boring details. I mean, the screws, not that couple of other details which weren't boring at all! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
You know, something along the lines of the pic below (maybe with some other interesting details in the tub - sorry, couldn't find any at the moment).
Mind, this is veeery easy, but you see what I mean.
Just a thought, anyway.

More girly, for sure. Titillation is fine, and gratuitous titillation even better.

In fairness though you might wanna make the boats more UK as the readership here is mostly UK. A non med boater would struggle to recognise an Aicon. They're almost non existent in UK but all over the place in the Med.
