I launched my boat today and when i switched on the log the numbers display had faded to a light brown colour. Have any of you come across this,and if so do you think it will return to full black colour.

If it's a LCD display, a low supply voltage or low temperatures (less than 3-4 degrees C) can cause fading to a lighter colour.
