Speedo Inop

Just picked up a Searay 185 Bowrider with a 4.3L Merc MPI and the speedometer is now not showing mph, stop regeistering ????

I thought that I was able to clear the intake hole on the stern drive (Alpha One) with a little piece of wire was had little piece of wood in it, but now I'm don't were to start next.

Any thoughts, I do trailer the boat every time and she only has 11 hours.

disconnect at speedo head and blow out . look for something that may have come loose and now kinking the hose. disconnect pickup and blow thru there if unable to clear from speedo.
