Speed Boat hire Alicante Mar Menor suggestions?

My wife and I and another couple are flying down to Mar Menor South East Spain next weekend 8th Oct for a jolly and was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere I can hire a 18' to 25' motor boat for a day? We just want to explore and have a day out! We would like bare boat. We have all the necessary tickets and have our own speedy in uk for the last five years.Boat doesnt have to be mint condition. Anyone know of any nice harbours,bays,beaches to explore in that area? Thanks for suggestions. Nic

I think you can rent boats at this size out of Santa Pola Marina by the astondoa factory. Sorry but I have not contact details

Flying in to San Javier, Murcia I presume....

Got a town house in Los Alcazares, so know the area, but have not tried to hire a boat down there..

There are a couple of marinas on the Alcazares side, one of which (near the centre) I believe do some rental...
On the La Manga (an area I do not venture to), there are one or two marinas which may do hire....
Cartagena is a must, and may give you another option for boat charter....

Sorry for being so vague, but time down there is spent lazing about and of course, the inevitable work that is needed on the house...
