Special thanks to FMYC

[Independence]

I find myself very humbled from the generosity of the FMYC who very much mirrored the welcome we received from the Newport Rhode Island Yacht Club.

Not only were we given place of honour outside the yacht club but Suzi did a great job in catering for my ‘supporters’ and friends, many of whom I wasn’t expecting to see on the day.

Thanks to everyone for making such a special end to a very special journey

Not sure what to make of that smiley....Mexican handlebar moustache, Chopper Read???

No reception required for such a short hop but we may need the commodore to find us a berth in Fox's if Neptune can't accommodate...will know on Monday apparently!

If we don't get last years spot outside Isaac's Bar, doof,doof,doof bass beats till 2 am, the 3 am domestic rows, the 4 am singing Polish peeps and when you finally think they've all gone home........the road sweeper arrives about 5.30....Fox's will seem quite tame!

Sneaked in to Foxs this morning without the Commodores permission :encouragement: Harbourmaster guys were great and shoe horned us in. Can fall out of the club and land on our ship! George is doing some warranty work si it will be squatting for the week.
