Can anyone offer any advice please to a first tiem boat buyer?
I am thinking of buying a tax (VAT) paid Spanish flagged boat which I intend to moor in Cyprus and use around the Med for approximately 3-6 months of the year.
Can I keep the boat under a Spanish flag or should I reregister it under say a Cypriot flag.
The boat I am thinking of buying is currently VAT paid so it would seem a shame to have to pay VAT again
Any advice on ehat I need to do to legimtimately keep the boat in The Med and withi the EU all year around would be gratefully received
