Quick Question.....

Planning first visit to the Boat Show and trying to understand the difference between the Preview Day and the normal days. Any advise gratefully received.

It's more expensive and you may bump into a few celebs and TV crews on preview day - other than that not a great deal of difference.

Upside is that it's less crowded, stands are well stocked, and folk on the stands are not weary. Worth going especially if you can wangle a freebie.

I went with free preview day tickets some years ago.Less crowded than weekends & as stated their are some celebs about. The best they could do was Sally Gunnell.
Plenty of free drinks & the odd snack. If you want bargains it is better at the end of the week as exhibitors do not want to cart stuff back to their shops etc

The best tickets you can get are the free ones given away to interested/potential boat buyers but on the down side they may hassle you for a while after the show if you do not purchase. If you have a boat in mind, call the dealer and ask if they are at the show and do they have any complimentary tickets.
