Source for Vetus 7.5mm x 4.75mm portlight seals ?

Hi,


I have 2 Vetus opening portlights in the cockpit sides which open into the quarterberths. Both of these have shot seals that have completely lost their resilience and don't keep water out at all. I have measured a section of the existing neoprene rubber seal and it seems to be 7.5mm x 4.75mm but I cannot find a source for a suitable neoprene rubber strip. The seal fits into a chanel extruded into the aluminium portlight surround so the width cannot be changed much but the acrylic light is screwed down onto the seal so thickness could be a little different.

Have tried Hadlow, Bridge Rubber, and quite a few others without being able to find a suitable strip, anyone here know where it can be obtained ?

Send the guys at Vetus your portlight model or better yet a photocopy of a cross section. They sell it by the metre.
