Hi to All,
I am going to take part in one racing competition but I am doing this at the first time. So
I do not know about what things should I keep in mind ? Please give me some tips to win
the competition and advice. Thanks in advance.

When you are sailing upwind or downwind don't sail beyond the point on the polar where you acan achieve best VMG (velocity made good)
Use f11 on keyboard to get fullscreen.

Don't tack or gybe too often - they will decrease your speed considerably for a while.

Making small changes in direction will reduce your speed very little.

Don't worry about how far away from the start you are when practising as one hour before the start time all boats will miraculously be transported back to the start line
