Some photos I took at anchor in force 8

My apologies to all, especially:-
Tam-Lin, Mad Boater, prv, Deleted User and and Anders P42.

I was in a particularly bad mood this morning and did not have brain-in-gear.
Of course, being "on the water" is what it's all about.

In my defence, I've always preferred solitude to being in a crowd.

Once again, my apologies.

Apologies accepted

The more I thought about it the more I thought it was a wind up,it was so ludicrous.

We anchored watched the F1 race, had lunch, sat in cockpit enjoying sun then back to Portsmouth via the P1 race in Stokes bay. Paul (Romans8) noticed us in Stokes bay and motored up, we had a natter as we drifted watching P1 race. We opened up taps on the way back. Vid below taken from Pauls Antares 30 looking at my one.

Perfect way to spend an afternoon in my book.

In the video abt what speed are you cruising at and are you using any trim tab down?

It was a flat out run, I forgot to look at speed but I recon 25-26 knots. Trim was set to 3. I played with trim on Sat and found trim 4 used more fuel, about 1-2lph more for no gain in speed. That was cruising at 3000rpm / 20 knots.

Me and Paul are going to shoot some high quality drive by vids, so we can see what our boats look like at speed.
