Solent this weekend

Any body out and about in the Solent this weekend? I shall be running around from Chichester to Hamble and back again trying out a few boats on Friday and Saturday.

Dom, when I was there for a month or so feb/mar this year they had 2 squadron 50s that lived in chichester, both moored near the lock, near Moose's boat. One was much higher spec than the other, had aircon and stuff. The other was basic spec. Anyway, I thought they were both for sale, and have been a while, so you might have a choice of two.

As a Guernsey ex-pat am interested to hear that you're in my neck of the woods (I now live in Warsash), we'll be out and about from Hamble at the weekend at some point in Mananan (white Hunton). Maybe we could meet for a pint somewhere?

Yep, me too.

I am attempting to get a small group from my pontoon to have a w/e at the Follies in Cowes.

Will get there mid afternoon and leave after lunch on Sunday.....thats the plan.

Try meet up Friday - can't do Saturday as running a VHF course. Unles s you'll be up at Mercury about 1ish!!

Cant promise anything beer wise guys sorry as I am also working ove the weekend and dont know how long the meeting on friday evening ill go on for.

I will find out where I am staying and put apost up so that we may have a chance forumite beer for whose around but will be around on the boat Friday till about 2pm ish then in Andark for the afternoon then business meeting.

Would like to say beer at spinnakers but will find out more tomorrow and let you guys know.
