Heres one for tcm, jfm, learner etc.
What is the weather like in the SOF in February. We normally have a week in the Canaries this time of year, however we liked the SOF so much during my 40th birthday prezzie trip in July we would like to go back. But only if the weather is good enough.
Thanks in advance - Ian

Well I;m told that last year was unusual by all the locals so i'm looking forward to warm and dry there this jan and feb. Learner should be able to give us a long range forecast as he has gone native down there.

It is a bit hit & miss in Feb but its not often bad for more than a day before the sun makes another appearance though

Its not so crowded in Restaurants & locals aren't so worn down by the season!

Only been there a couple of years in Feb so not much experience, but I think it's a bit. As in 9-12 deg C kind of cold/cool.

When you could rely on the weather it was wet in January to mid February but then then mid- late month it changes dramatically and it is supposed to be clear .. if still cold by Med standards. This year it was all of Feb and part of March as well...

Comparing to Canaries in Feb.... a lot colder ..... but possibly same rainfall, should be order of day. Howver it is winter still ....But recent experience not so reliable ''' Late January / Feb is when Mimosa covers the mountains ( it HATES rain) .. so ??

As I speak , temp is 29degrees , Bright Blue skies with superb vis and force 3/4 ... but then I have just got back from London where I was all last week ..

Re: flaky

i took delivery of d2 in feb and i seem to remeber that it was rather okay - calm and sunnyish. Then again it might be rubbish and rainy. Carib far more reliable i think...
