Need to remove antifouling from Full Circle in preparation for Coppercoat in may.

Anyone recommend someone who can do that down in Rochford?

Anyone else who is thinking of doing something similar perhaps we can get together for a decent price discount?

I can get a really good rate for lift out/in and blast/chock/storage charges are also very reasonable.

Jim, I used ARC, http://www.arccompany.co.uk/. Not sure they used soda, not sure what it was actually  but they did a good job for me and for another in the yard the following winter.
They are Hamble-based but have (or had then anyway) a team in East Anglia, based near Stansted. Cost was a lot less than some.

Glen Opie, Blastit Ltd in Little Baddow is knowledgeable and has been recommended.
I've not used him on yachts but has done heritage building stuff for my employers.
Not one of life's high pressure salesmen and office work takes second place to site work.

I'm having my hull Coppercoated over this winter by Halls at Walton. I made enqs about soda blasting as did the yard but we couldn't get a cost, all we could get was £40 per hour and no indication as to how long it would take. Halls have scraped my hull and then sanded/polished it super smoooth and when the weather warms up will apply the coppercoat. They have stripped the iron keel and treated it with a grey antirust paint. Halls are Coppercoat approved applicators. I use one of their moorings and over winter in their yard and am a satisfied customer.
