Got up at 7.30 am, hosed off the aft deck and wiped down the windows, took the tender over to Princess Yacht club to drop Nat off so she could go food shopping, entered the waypoints into the plotter ready for the weekend strip to Anguilla then took the tender across to Marigot to be worked on, on the way back I stopped at the internet cafe to do some surfing..............

Been digging out 2 lots of brik planters and throwing them in the skip - so all told about a ton of bricks and 3 ton of soil....!

Took wife to hospital a.m. for balance tests - no, she's not training for the high-wire. Feels giddy when driving which is a b. nuisance for her. Had a mooch around the adjacent V**** dealer to look at the new V50. Left there a bit underwhelmed.

Then to AAAAAAAgh , IKEA !!!!! Undergoing alterations so even worse than usual - 1hr. to get 6 items. The only saving grace was the lunch of meatballs - Swedish word for these is most unappetising.

The postman turned up with my tickets for a week in Faliraki from May 1st. In order to fit in, I've already had me 'ed shaved and been to the tattoo saloon. Now got a copy of the forum burgee on me belly - the mouse moves quite realistically - bet that 'll turn 'em on.

Did some home therapy this afternoon which consisted of smashing up 4 kitchen chairs - no, not the ones from IKEA due to poor instructions.

Oh what excitement, there's more !!!

Went to golf club to play an active game of Maltese Cross (dominoes). This was arranged earlier in the day but the one doing the arranging neglected to bring the "equipment", so my efforts to keep fit were dashed yet again.

Just another day in Paradise (East Midlands), what !!

Just got in by chopper from re-positioning an oil rig after a 120 mile tow using three boats (0630 am out here - Saudi). Now got 150 mile drive back south for some bloody meeting !!
Only two weeks to go before real boating starts - can't wait !

She was off for 3 days, was going to order a skip on Monday and clear out some rubbish and I'd finish it when I got home.
Guess what, skip arrived this evening not long before I got home, she's starts work again tomorrow, so I'll be doing all the clearing out/forums/images/icons/frown.gif
