We've now just completed the first 100 hrs in our "import". It is a pretty basic boat and a few silly niggles have been present which have so far been sorted under warranty so everything hasn't been perfect. BUT we are now averaging in excess of 5mpg which is slightly better than the previous smaller boat achieved via a 70hp 4stroke outboard and we currently have 150hp on tap. PLUS the cost of fuel per litre is only a third, approximately, of that which we were paying. The boat has therefore been used with a lot less consideration of the cost of any trip. On top of that the sea-keeping is excellent and we got over 31 knots out of her today. The only real disadvantage is the noise level compared with an ultra smooth and quiet Suzuki 4stroke. Though at high revs there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference, at low to mid range revs the extra racket is very significant. We will try to tackle this during a short winter lay-up.
All in all we've had an extraordinarily good time of late and the fact that we are the only UK owners of this model has not been a problem. YIPPEE !!! YES, DIESELS DO RULE, OK !!

Yep, I also imported a boat that wasn't previously available in the UK or Ireland.

No dealer setup here but never had a problem with the company. Even if I mentioned about a windscreen wiper that had an intermittent fault 4 years later, a whole new unit was promptly despatched to me free of charge.

You don't get that kind of service from a dealer. I can't speak highly enough of the company.
