30 to 50 Dinghies, half Deckers and Broads sailing cruisers should start at Horning Sailing Club in groups every 5 minutes from 10:30, proceeding to a buoy between Acle and Upton Dyke, another buoy Between Womack Dyke and Potter Heigham, then back to the club. the race takes about 6 hours.

If the wind is light the buoys may be moved closer to Thurne mouth , and the start / finish moved further down river, the water works is often used..
The race takes around 6 hours normally and is seen as a mini 3 Rivers race, BUT there are no bridges to go under..
Bacon butties and a muggacoffee before the race are a must..

Entries here..

Think you might have the year wrong in your title- should be 2022?

Surely the event name is a bit over the top - tri-“icicle” and “snowflakes” in October in the sunny south?
What would you call a race in February? Softies :)
Enjoy your race

Snowflakes Sailing Club runs from next weekend the 6 months through to next March, racing every Sunday plus boxing day.
We had frost and ice (on land) at the sailing club yesterday morning at Horning Sailing Club for the End of (Summer) season Regatta....

I've in the past, driven the rescue boat round the moorings, Ice breaking up to 2 inches thick of Ice so we could get the sailing boats out
