Re: Na! Sorry dont agree....

Yes, you are right, we 'East Coasties' don't agree with you, we used to have lots of buoys marking all the swatchways and short cuts over the sand banks and most have been removed as they are never used by ships - they have even removed some of the old beacons on the sandbanks placed there years ago.

S'obvious, innit. Right now, I'm stood at the helm. I'm not on the chart, I'm about 3 feet behind it, though if it helps, I can put my hand on it. 15 minutes ago, I was also stood at the helm. Can I have my certificate now please? Lemon with that G&T?

Re: East coasties

Just to show that us east coasties are not the cheapskates you think we are and are not also behind the times.
I spent hours setting up the magnetite, and getting it to stay on the string with horse bone glue was a real so and so.
Ps It is very reassuring to hear the dull resounding thud as the hull hits the bouys on your way home after a hard days piracy or perhaps even better a nice long day spent luring gullable owners of shiny boats from the upper thames on to mud banks etc.

Exercise is bunk.If you are healthy, you do not need it;if you are sick you should not take it.
