Smiths anemoeter

Hello,
Does anyone know about this wind speed meter?
I'd like to use it but don't have the anemometer sender on the mast head.
Can't post a phot it seems?
On the face is smiths,wind speed. Knots 1000/00
On the reverse are four terminal
One for a light
One for the anemometer I think?

Re: second photo - looks like the lampholder at the top with white and green wires, this should pull out.

Unless there's anything else out of sight behind the coiled wires, the two flat spades to the right are probably a voltage input from the vane unit, which you say you don't have. For an accurate reading you will need a replacement with the same volts per knot output. Otherwise, recalibrating the face of the instrument is possible - but probably too much trouble.

Thanks for that. Do you have any idea of the voltage, or mv. I want to test the range but don't want to damage it.

I think I have the mast head sensor for this in the garage. I'll take a picture tomorrow and see if it is
