Small Yacht Charter Firth of Clyde

+1 for Flamingo, though it is a few years since I used them but they always gave good service. I think the coding requirements have made smaller boats uneconomic for the charter market. In the past most were privately owned and managed by companies like Flamingo

Thanks for the information but the maximun size is 28 feet .
I am sure you must have your reasons for limiting size. However, you will find it very difficult to charter a boat that small anywhere. As already mentioned the cost of coding such a boat is high in relation to its value, and the demand for small boats in the charter market is almost non existent, meaning it is difficult to make any money out of it. Most people who charter are looking for something they probably can't justify buying and spreading the cost over a number of people. So mid 30 ft upwards is what the market seems to want. Newer boats are more attractive for clients and operators as they tend to be more reliable.

When we looked for a tiller steered boat to charter the only one in our area was a Moody 31 at Oban, I don't think you'll find anything smaller. http://www.asyc.co.uk/ the association chap was very helpful when we talked to him at the Southampton boat show.
