Looking for a charter yacht on The Clyde maximum length 28 feet for a family of four. Does anyone know of one. Thanks
Try flamingo yacht charter they use to have something about that size
They used to have a cracking Cobra 27 (I think) called "Puffin", but I don't think she's in their fleet these days. Like everyone else, they seem to be moving up the LOA scale, but still worth a try - http://fy-charter.co.uk/
I am sure you must have your reasons for limiting size. However, you will find it very difficult to charter a boat that small anywhere. As already mentioned the cost of coding such a boat is high in relation to its value, and the demand for small boats in the charter market is almost non existent, meaning it is difficult to make any money out of it. Most people who charter are looking for something they probably can't justify buying and spreading the cost over a number of people. So mid 30 ft upwards is what the market seems to want. Newer boats are more attractive for clients and operators as they tend to be more reliable. Thanks for the information but the maximun size is 28 feet .
