Hi Everyone!
So, Im completely new to outboards and stuff but what is the cheapest way to "connect" an outboard motor to a jockey console, with both steering wheel and throttle control box. the thing is that my old honda 7.5 4stroke is not made for remote controlling. Ive heard about those hydraulic steering kits/bundles where you get all you need, but its bloody expensive! Hope you will help me :) remember it will be mounted to a RIB/Tender inflatable boat :)

Unless there is a remote kit available for your model you cannot fit remote steering or throttle/gear controls. The steering unit suggested assumes the outboard is set up for remote steering, which is brackets to take the push rod. You also need the brackets to attach the cables for the throttle and gear shift. This is what you get in a kit. The cables and remote controls are standard items.
