I'm thinking about restoring a jet outboard just to give the Seagull folk a bit of a laugh. At the most it would be for a 12 ft sailing dinghy. One of the advantages (I can think of plenty of disadvantages) is that there is no prop to saw through my nice mahogany rudder...
I know of British Anazani, Warren and the Aus one which I think was called a Vista.
Has anyone any experience of this mechanical masterpiece?

Ok so being two stroke and air cooled they will be noisy but they are at least light!
Interested to hear any first hand experiences, for example, with the intake pointing down do they quickly fill up with weed and gravel???
