Smal storage cases for tools.

I have a fair few smaller tools/gadgets that I would like to find cases for. Things like my Ctek charger and my Irodo gas solder iron that came without cases. I don't want to spend a fortune on Pelicase stuff. Anyone know where I might find cheap smallish hinged plastic boxes that latch shut. A quick look on ebay comes up with mostly old Makita etc drill cases - these are too large.

Tupperware boxes would do at a pinch I suppose, but handled case would be preferable.

cheers

How about these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272490071715

Too late now but I have 'My Little Pony' and a 'Flower Fairies' lunch boxes for my tools. I would have preferred Thomas the Tank Engine and Bob the Builder but we were blessed with girls only.

This is a great post and something I've been thinking about recently.
Apart from the obvious peli-case...I was looking on eBay under "water proof storage box" and found some decent items in the fishing section.
Let us know how you get on.
I have a few pelicases from work, but they are too big for my boat...almost medium suitcase size.

I am using a soft Stanley bag for my tools where I keep it under the floor in the bildge. I find the soft bag much more convenience to store than a hard one.

Everyone in my family uses soft Stanley bags for assorted tools, they have lots of pockets round the inside and zip closed. We then have a folding crate full of plastic takeaway boxes and ice-cream tubs with rivets, sikaflex, shackles etc which lives in the car (and is perhaps used more for mending dinghies).

Engine spares live in a takeaway box, which has lasted at least 10 years. They are all oily so a perfect seal is not required.

The local (at the time) Poundland provided boxes with handles for tools, boxes with seals for foodstuffs and loads of other things that I didn't realise I needed at a good price (work that one out yourselves...). 7/8 years and still going strong.

Not suitable for the type of item to which the OP referred, I concede, but for many tools simple canvas tool rolls are hard to beat for organisation and flexible stowability.

My first-aid kit lives in similar accommodation! :D
