Due to its position, our wheel pilot motor is awkward to set up, with not enough movement between loose belt so it's easy to fit, and tight belt so it doesn't slip. My cunning fix for this is to have a short length of C-shaped track that will hold a flat strip, to which the motor will be attached, allowing it to slide, and be locked in place by a thumb screw. Total length, maybe 25 cm or so. Any ideas where I could find such a track? My local Metals Supermarket only has U-shaped profiles, not C-shaped

You could look at things like the 2020 and 2040 extrusions available on ebay and elsewhere?
