The moulded sink in our little Pegasus is a tad tatty and I’m not sure how best to tidy it up. I can’t find a stainless sink of suitable size so I guess it needs to be paint or something. Ideas please.

Have you thought of trying some chlorine as used for swimming pools -blue canister in liquid form cleans many things but clearly use with care with gloves Google’s and ventilation etc -it cleans patios and pool edging stones etc.

My guess is your sink was originally moulded in an existing commercially available stainless sink. Using an existing sink would be so much cheaper than making a mould. Sinks come in fairly standard sizes - keep looking - and check caravan and motor home shops.

Take your existing sink and use it as a mould and make a new one - or sand it back and re-coat with a decent acrylic paint.

Think outside the box

What are the dimensions?
I have an old Simpson - Lawrence stainless steel square sink of the kind that was fitted to many boats in the 1960s and 1970s that might do.

Thanks for the replies and the link to penguin engineering. They have a sink which is within a cm so I have dropped them an email.
