Whilst I would take the 1 Million it saddens me to read those stats on the depletion of our oceans, nothing worse than the feeling we are boating on stagnant ponds! Thank those above us for the pollack and dogfish that swim below and do not seem to be in high demand :)

the bluefin has almost gone the way of the dodo, i wonder how old that fish was ?

Sad to think fish as big as this and bigger were prolific off the East Costs of the UK only 50 years ago.

You young,uns wont remember but when I was a lad they fished for Tuna at Scarborough,I think the largest was somewhere round 800 lbs.All gone years ago.Sad isnt it.
