Easily built over a weekend or two.

Kids loved it.

Rowing got better once I moused the rowlock.

One way of solving the problem with rowlocks and losing the oars is to use ring rowlocks and putting a Turk's Head to stop the oars sliding out. It also holds the rowlocks captive to the oars.

Very nice. Was thinking about something small - boat moored just a few feet from slip.

Did you use marine plywood?

No, not marine ply. BUT some 9 years later of hard use (lots of paint) the bottom has 'started' to delaminate.
