Simrad RS82 handset compatibility with RS87

I have an old Simrad VHF setup with an RS87 handset at the chart table, and wiring, socket and cradle for a second handset at the helm.



Does anyone know if the RS82 handset is compatible?

They share the same cable, cradle and socket, and look identical.
