simpson Lawrence S-Lectric windlass HELP

Hi all

I have a very large twin gypsy and drum windlass made by Simpson Lawrence with a badge on it that says S-Lectric it started playing up last weekend and clearly needs some attention, does anyone know of a service centre or a parts supplier for these winches

Has anyone got a manual for this windlass or any info on them if you could feed me any information it would be gratefully received, as manually pulling up 20 metres of chain left me a little dizzy !!

I would happily second that, John knows most of what is known about SL equipment and has some spares in new manufacture as well as a huge pile of original stock.
Helpfull and knowledgable.
