Is there a silent protest happening here on Scuttlebutt at present?
Because of recent events,
Every thing is so serious, Nobody seems to be talking any more,
Where the fun gone, The witty retorts,The sarcasm,
The downright insulting,
If it stays like this,I'll have to buy a motor boat and swop to the other side,
And that really would not do at all!

Its called free speech, as long as its PC and you dont upset anyone. Me I've found another forum. Even mobo is becoming fairlt sterile!!

OK, to hell with it. Unbolt it and we'll use it as an anchor!

Ah now! You see most of the chaps on these here boards wouldn't exactly fit in. Not a personal attack, you understand. Its more of a down to earth spit and sawdust sort of a place. A spade is a spade and such like. If some one doesn't agree with you they let you know in no uncertain terms. Queensbury rules, what are they! Even the moderators get a slatting now and then, quiet an eyeopener. It doesn't really fit in with the image of ybw.com, again not a persinbal attack.

OK, to hell with it. Unbolt it and we'll use it as an anchor!

Mike,

I've been away for a week, and on my return to the forum, it appears that everything has changed. Looks like Steve101 got booted off (shame really 'cos he did liven things up a bit).... just went a bit too far I guess. We got a couple of rockets from the Boss, and now all we get is a load of serious stuff. All interesting subjects, but the fun has (temporarily I trust) gone from the forum. Maybe that's what most posters want, this forum is for interchange of (very useful) subjects after all. so, who is going to stick his head above the parapet, I wonder, and bring back some lighthearted postings.....?

Join the stinkies again, Nicho, for GSOH. It seems one can become an honorary Stinkie, even when you get the Bav!

Sorry Jeremy, but even though it's been said that some are deserting Scuttlebutt for 'tother side, I cannot bring myself to do that! (though I still take the odd peek now and again). Whilst I still don't have the damned boat yet, I am becoming (perhaps too?) comfortable in this forum, and like to show a little loyalty!

Ahh, bugger all that. Don't we all use boats for the same thing, enjoyment. Same should be with the forums, we're all boaters on the water.

OK, to hell with it. Unbolt it and we'll use it as an anchor!

Really, Nicho, you'rr life must be dreadfully boring and uninteresting if you come to SB for a bit of excitement. Perhaps you ought to try some of the latest E-Viagra mix? Jeremy can recommend a good supplier.
