Sign of nice weather

The plod patrol boat was out on the water around Brightlingsea.

I have seen pilot cutters go out in all weather, mobos go out in rough weather, yachts go out in pouring rain, fishing boats go out in crap weather..
But I have never seen plod on the water except on a sunny day.

Seen them out in all weathers, they were out yesterday, saw a post by them somewhere dressed up to the nines. Obviously they only visit Brightlingsea on a nice day.

A bit like when speed traps used to be somebody standing holding a hand held device rather than sitting in the comfort of their van - you were most likely to encounter those when the sun was out.
